Well, we did it. We finally brought our new baby into the world. I tell you what, that baby kicked my butt while he was inside my tummy - and he kicked it coming out. lol. We couldn't be happier! 8 pounds and 1/2 oz. . . . . 19 inches long. Arived in less than 5 minutes. I'm never doing this again. lol.

Mommy's distractions

i've been having a lot of strong contractions - and colby keeps wanting to know why i'm sitting down so much. lol. so i told her that when it gets close to when a baby gets to come out mommy's have something called contractions that are not a big deal and don't hurt, but they make mommy's have to sit down sometimes. yesterday i was having so many, i told her we needed to come straight home after her birthday party. we got home, i got her homework together, and i sat down. she sits next to me and says, "mommy, is your tummy having one of those distractions"? lol. lol. i loved it so much i didn't correct her. this morning she asked me if i would be having any distractions when she got home.
lol. she's just cool.

Spring Soccer

They're the yellow sunshine team! Once again, Colby enjoyed another season of soccer. We are so proud of how much she has come out of her shell in just 12 months!! She's great at soccer.

Our First Snowman

We don't get a whole lot of snow here in Nashville - so when we do, it's really exciting! This is Colby and Big John's lovely creation. Buddy just wanted to bark it down. The baby and I stayed inside - it was cold out there!!

Jamie's Party

Colby's little girlfriend had her party at the skating rink. That's the first time Colby's ever been to a rink and skated. She did great. Yep. . . that's a picture of Mimi and Papa - ON SKATES. They skated around holding hands just like teenagers. Everyone had a good time.

Snow - kind of

So, it snowed while we were in Atlanta visiting Mimi and Papa. Well, if you can call this much white stuff snow. lol. While our snowman has unusually long arms - fun was had by all making him.
