Skating Party - Old School Style

Well, it appears all of my attempts to keep my baby girl from becoming a grown up girl have failed. She had her 6th birthday party at the skating rink last week. Hannah Montana of course. She had a great time with her 17 friends, and we all had a great time watching her enjoy herself. I think the best part was when I had to go to my personal itunes stock to get all the Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana songs to play at the rink!! After all the presents and fun, when the rest of my family was asleep - I stayed awake long enough to thank God that He entrusted me with such an amazing, amazing little person.

Colby turns 6!

With her skating party the next night, we had a little "Maggie Moo's" cake for her on the 28th. Cousin Savannah was able to be with us - and she even decorated our little dog for the occasion!

Wild Animal Saffari

We just found out about this amazing park. The craziest animals come into your car and slobber all over you to get food. It was awsome! Colby, Papa and I loved every second of it. Zebra, water buffalo, giraffe, bison. . . you name it, it was spitting in our car! I can't wait to go back!!!

Father's Day 2008

So it's John's first father's day with our new baby. Despite the fact that John thinks I dressed our son in girl clothes for the day, I think he had a nice day! (If you look close, you can see the golf stuff on the shoulder - clearly not for girls!) lol.

Auntie K's Birthday!

Even though Rod Stewart couldn't be there, he sent an autographed pic for her! Lol. It was good to see my little sister turn 30. I'm very proud of all that she has done and what a kind heart she has! Watch out world, you're fixing to get a great nurse out there!!!

Last Day Of School

It's the last day of kindergarten. How did that time go so fast? I still vividly remember walking away from her classroom on the first day, trying to look like I wasn't about to totally loose it. As you can see, we let her pick out her own clothes for this day. How a pair of tennis shoes, an old tee, and a skirt go together is beyond me. Whatever. It was better than the High School Musical "Gabriella" costume she's been wearing everywhere. lol. What a fun age this has turned out to be.
