She's in FIRST GRADE!!!!!!!!!!

Are you kidding me? How in the world did my little, tiny angel get to be big enough to be in first grade? I dropped her off the first day, and it was so obviously clear to me. She was never going back. She got the experience of the first day, and I really felt like that's all she needed. She would stay locked in our home with me and stay a baby girl forever. My mom found out and made me take her back the rest of the week. Of course she did. Now Colby really likes it and wants me to take her there. Looks like my little plan isn't going to work out after all. I'll let her go this year - BUT SHE'S NOT GOING TO SECOND GRADE!!!!!!!!!!

Colby rides her Hannah Montanna

John and I told her that when she learned to ride a bike with no training wheels, we'd buy her a new bike. Well, apparently she taught herself how to do it. We told Mimi and Papa that we were getting her a new bike, and they asked if that could be a gift from them. Uh, yes! lol. She hopped right on that bike and spent the rest of the evening with Papa in the street. There are very few people that she would rather play with than her Papa! She rides the bike like a pro . . . . and how could she not? She's on a Hannah Montanna bike with a High School Musical helmet and elbow pads. Those make you ride "good".

First Swim

We took the kids over to my grandmother's house for a swim. Turns out, he's not such a big fan. lol. Oh well, maybe next year!
